The Voices

The voices that we hear inside our head will cause dismay,

they fight us on most everything but always guide the way.

The thoughts we always think of lead to actions that we take,

thus building roads that pave our way within this life we make.

The arguments that live inside the mind can crush your  soul,

unless you tame and manage them, the ultimate control.

See, It’s that battle of the mind that makes us who we are,

the lowest of the low in jail or brightest of the stars.

The path we take determined by our each and every mood

the happy, sad, the good, and bad will always come from you.

So, as you walk this life, you live, and as you make your choices,

remember that deep down inside, you must control those voices!
